I run Castrol GTX 20-50w. If I were to switch I'd probably go with Mobil 1. But the Castrol is doing just fine.

No seriously, they dont. Do you mean 15W-50?

But anyways, they sell Mobil 1 in 5 quart jugs at Wal-Mart for like 19 bucks. Thats where I go to get my 15W-50.

I use 0W 30 Amsoil series 2000 synthetic oil. I have just a small oil seapage on the front of the engine. Extra protection when the engine is cold and protects like none other.

all the "hot-rod and import guys" jump on this stuff as soon as my local auto parts stores get it in. We have a hard time finding the 20-50. Im all about the havoline 10-40 for the most part. With as many miles as I have it is redundant to switch to synthetic. It is good, but it better to start when your motor has like 35-45k on it. Any of your guys remember the rondell artical on the million mile 325is? Exxon Mobile grabbed a bimmer to do a million mile test using fully synthetic fluids and they broke the barrier no problem.
