    500 miles.

there really isnt a "break in" period, they just say avoid slipping the clutch, and no crazy clutch dumps for a while.

BMW specs a couple hundred shifts to break it in. Mileage doest matter because who knows how long you'll cruise around without having to shift.

Common sense- It's the new 'gifted'

I know I dont have to worry about slipping my 6 puck...its ON or OFF... It is my understanding just to take it easy for the first few hundred miles.

i gave mine 500-750 of easy driving. worked out great, but the clutch seemed to take a while to feel normal afterwards... it felt kind of "disconnected"

I'm taking my car with a brand new clutch (10 miles so far) to the track on Sunday. THAT will break it in! Actually, after I get an alignment tomorrow, I'll drive it as much as possible and make sure everything is o-tay with the car.

I'll put a couple hundred miles on it between now and sunday. It's not a regular track day, but an instructor clinic so most of my time will be spent in the passenger seat of someone else's car. I may get a session or two in which I'll drive gently because it's suppose to rain and this my new to me track car.
