    Any golfers?

Just a roundabout question ;) I'm a golf nut and figured there had to be others in the crowd! If so, what do you play with, scoring, etc. Thanks!

Yep, King Cobra irons, Callaway woods, I usually shoot around 80 at the local course, but I gotta get sharpened up for the golf team. :)

Been playin since i was a kid.....current irons are Rifle 5.5 shafted Cleveland TA-3's, but also have my old Hogan Apex Grinds & Tommy Armour 845s. Current driver is Taylor Made 320Ti, fairway wood is a steel shafted Callaway War Bird 4wd, putter is an old Ping Zing, wedges are Cleveland Form-Forged. There are plenty of spare putters, wedges, fairway woods that I've collected over the years.

Had our first child a year ago, and I stopped playing until he is old enough to join me.

Love the game, always will ;)

      USGA index was a 3.8

Ping eye 2's... they were my dad's for a while, but they're still in terrific shape & i can hit em pretty well... if i actually make good contact

as for numbers, i barley break 100, although i have my moments of perfection... it's like i'll hit a 10 on one hole & birdie the next... worm burn one drive & knock one 250 yards w/ a slight draw down the middle of a dog left the next tee :? i just gotta get out & play more, that's all... i only get out like 3 times a year, not including the driving range

I took it up after I desroyed my knee in 8th grade and couldn't play soccer anymore, had to get another fall sport. Ended up at Maryland state HS Championships my Junior and Senior years. Had a scoring average of 38 my senior year(we only play 9 hole matches except for state qualifiers and interconference matches. I'm around a 5-6 though. I'm playing with Fat Shaft blades, white hot 2-ball putter, Big Bertha II 3-wood, bought a titleist 981K a month ago used, and cleveland wedges 51* and 56*. I'm just waitin for some nice weather so I can get back out without sleeves for once.

My dad had be out at the pitch-and-putt as soon as I could swing a club. Currently I'm using Orlimar irons and woods with Cleveland wedges.
                I usually shoot between 80 and 90.

                          Wooohooo! Golf!

I used to play a lot, then a little, then none. I think the cost and the time it takes to play took its tool since I tend to waste so much of both on my e30.

I have a set of clubs by Dunlop (sold my good set), a driver made by me from the golfsmith stuff(shopclass), and a putter I got free since its got a corporate logo on it.

I used to be able to do 4-8 over par on reflection ridge as a kid (only wichitans will know that) and could tear up public courses by as much as 5 under. I was also the junior golf putting champ and I still wouldnt take a bet if you are minigolfing with me.
                          Im now E30less.

I've been playing since I was 11. It was one of those things that I started doing because I was kind of forced into it, my grandpa started me playing. Made me go to lessons, play in high-school, all that jazz. After high-school, I stopped playing altogether for about 5-6 years. I play now, but just with some cheaper clubs and just for fun w/ friends.

I used to play everyday in high school. Section Champs 2002. Its hard to play now in college, especially when the little income I get is going towards you know what.
