eh, I'm not quite with you there, but leaning that way. I just subscribed to Excellence, and love the magazine and the cars. They are so $$$$$, though! I have to get my E30 sorted before I can even look at a porsche.
I want to get an old 911, then do an engine swap...
p.s. the tech they put into their cars... I mean, on the air cooled engines, they have FINS on the oil lines (!!) to assist in cooling the oil!

they dont have fins on the oil lines, those peices are aftermarket, they are advertised in excellence , if you look at Evo MS (advertised in ex.)....we make alot of their parts, also pat williams racing, and most of the good looking suspension stuff

that thing is sexy. reminds me of the R/C porsche bodies because its so damn low w/ the chopped roof.

since we're on the subject of top speed runs, anyone see/read about the V12 supra TOP SECRET built hoping to go 249mph?

Hopefully Porsche got their rear main seal issues figured out. Imagine the look on a Porsche owners face when you tell them their oil leak cant be fixed. It leaked from the factory.

Electric cut-out combined with an extremely conservative ECU mapping? Maybe the only way the car can meet the Euro IV emissions standards?
