He's some kid who tried out for American Idol but was rejected because he can't sing worth shit. And now he got a record deal and publicity because people find his singing comical and entertaining. He still doesn't know people are listening to him for a laugh, and not because he sounds good or has talent.

Yes, he does know they're listening to him because he sucks. He goes to Berkley (I think), I'm pretty sure he's smart enough to figure it out.

I am not sure he knows. He was at the Golden State Warriors game during half time and had cheerleaders dancing around him. He sang "Can you feel the love tonight" from the Lion King, and everyone got their lighters out. He has also done interviews on a local radio station and appears to think he can make a go of this. Music stores say they can't play the whole cd because it is so bad.

I agree, I also saw an interview somewhere and he talked about how Simon Cowell made a mistake and how he is a great singer. And that his vocal lessons will improve his singing even more. But either way he's still making $$$

seriously! The kid seems really nice, but I would never but his CD and support him because he's talentless. The only reason why people find him humorous is because he dresses like a dork, looks like a dork, is Asian, and has an accent. I don't think anyone would find him funny in Korea, China, etc. But, if he can take advantage of this opportunity then I wish him the best.

actually i've heard otherwise. A buddy of mine goes to berkley with him and has met him a few times. i guess he's a real jerk now because of his 15 min. of fame.

Apparently his album is pretty popular on the iTunes music store. I've listened to samples and its downright scary.
