Whats the difference between an i TB and an is TB?

I hear people talking about the IS tb like it's something different - probably bigger. What is the difference? Is it like 55mm vs 60 or something similar? I'm doing a turbo so 5mm wont matter. Anyone have one of either to sell me?

there is no difference. the motors are exactly the same. the only differences were fairly minor; suspension, LSD, sport seats, and some cosmetic stuff on the outside.

both the 'i' and 'is' have the same engine... M20B25.

the earlier (pre-88 ) ones have a different cooling setup, and some minor different details, but for any given year 'i' and 'is' are functionally the same.

if you end up getting that TPS and will sell it to me I'll give/trade you an M20 TPS (the big one). I have a bunch of them. I might even have a fuel rail for you by then too :-)

There are two different sizes. I think the eta ones are smaller - but not 100% on that. I know that I've pulled about 20 so far and every now and then I come home with the smaller one. The yards have always been nice enough to let me switch them out for the larger one.

I actually bought a new fuel rail today for 25 bucks. Too much, i know - but im tired of hunting for one. I got some volvo injectors rated at 39 lbs\hr and some other nifty stuff too.

OK - So I won them both. how about you sell me a tb and if both of the ones i bought are correct I'll send you one for cheap. I don't have a tb to mount it on therefore i have no way to see if it's the right one.
