Yeah - I'd love to see what conversations are taking place when Alonso and Hamilton are "back at the shop"... they were gettin' it ON today!

Gotta be frustrating for Alonso --- M. Schumacher's gone, so F1 is wide open --- now this young upstart has shown up and is beating his ass...

Definetly not as exciting as Canada, but great race indeed. Hamilton is most likely to turn out as the next Senna.

    gooo hamilton and bmw!

i have met so many important figures in F1 so far... lets see

    Bernie Eccelstone
    Flavio
    Jean Topt
    Hamilton
    Hamiltons dad
    Alonso
    Massa
    Heifeld
    Mark Weber
    Scott Speed
    V. Liuzzi
    Nico Rosberg

man i have to say Hamilton is by far the coolest guy i have ever met. i was having a detailed conversation with the guy and he was perfectly fine with it. most drivers you talk to usually try to rush you when you talk to them cause their so busy but Hamilton really wanted to keep talking with us. it was really cool. hell of a nice guy...

i took a lot of pictures, you all will be able to see them in about a week or so....very nice detailed close ups of the cars on corners, i made sure to get the bmw's a lot.... :) cant wait for the race!!! is anyone else here?!

Looks good so far. I can't wait to get there Sunday morning.
The fact that Nick split the two McLarens in practice (Alonso 1st & Hamilton 3rd) looks promising. Vettel is only two-tenths off Hamilton's pace....not bad at all for a test driver. BMW certainly has the straight-line speed as of late - which is good considering Indy's 20+ seconds of WOT on the final turn and the main straight.

    Freakin' NASCAR in NC....
Anyways, glad to hear that Kubica is allright, that Heidfeld got a podium, and that I can record the race on Wednesday (thank you, SpeedTV)
Nascar was on TNT, this was on Fox. Nascar got rain delayed anyway.

Maybe the coast is different from the rest of NC :)

I'm jealous - especially if you're attending the drivers' meet & greet with the fans. Better get tons of pics. Ban-ville if you don't :-P
