3 times in 3 hours what a joke. There are some days where you just forget to pickup stuff while your at the store, thats 4 trips right there. Oh No time for jail for soccer Moms.

These laws are totally legit and are in the best interest of the people. The cops are truly looking to protect and serve and this is a tool for them to do exactly that. If you are upset because you may get harrassed or are worried about them finding the beer in your trunk, the bowl hidden under the shift boot, etc.... well then you are probably one of the people laws like this were intended for.

I highly doubt soccer moms, or grandma's bingo hall puts you anywhere near industrial complexes, red light districts, known drug zones, etc. 90% of accidents happen within one mile of your house so I'd suggest that if you want to drive go drive. Get up early at sunrise and find a nice twisty stretch somewhere but whatever you do don't take your 400rwhp car out to rip around a populated traffic laden area.... that's asking for it. Everyone who seems pissed makes reference to street racing, gang activity, drugs & prostitution. Where do soccer moms fit into that?

I used to go to those street races back when I lived in Kent.

I lived off of the East Valley Highway exit off the 167. 200th and 108th/Benson

It's called DC, Million dollar neighborhoods next to crack neighborhoods.

                Sorta like Roxbury.

I am not a loser who needs to "cruise" around in the first place. What is the big deal? We have had anti-cruising laws for 20 years

Believe it or not.. some of the million dollar neighborhoods ARE the crack neighborhoods!

Hmmm.. I can see the headlines now- soccer mom doing hard time at the penitentary because Joey Jr. left his retainer at school. Cops say that the soccer mom was buying weed for her abusive husband.

This law will not effect you unless you look sketch as hell. A cop is never going to notice an e30 in the same spot, is he writing down every plate he sees?

The freeways in socal are frickin' insane. It's either 5mph or 90mph. Since I moved out here I have yet to find a wide open road to enjoy. This is the main reason I always drive the e36. :(

I feel fortunate that we have many long roads around here that are relatively straight and where you can really open the car up and just let it FLY. The interstate highway that runs right through the middle of the city was sometimes dubbed as "The Other Autobahn" because nobody ever obeyed the speed limit. Now they have those doggone speed cameras.
