Got some e21 Recaro's

I got some black cloth e21 Recaro's with brackets, I'd say overall good condition, few minor issues, but not bad at all. I thought I would put them in my car, but it seems they fall short in all important aspect's: Bolster support, butt support, and adjustablilty. Plus they aren't exactly a direct bolt on.

But my black leather e30 sport seats are beat. I don't know what to do. What are these Recaro's worth? Anyone have them in an e30 that can convince me they are better then or even equal to e30 sport seats?

These are a bolt in for 2002's. I sold a set on ebay for $500 a year ago.

The bolsters are much better than e30 seats IMO

The E21 Recaros are worth big bucks to 2002 guys...I have a set in my deuce.

How do you figure the bolsters are "better"? They are wider and not as vertical (compared to the seat back), so you slide a little further to the side and the overall seat is wider.

What kind of condition were yours in, and what material? What would my set be worth? They are kinda dark gray/black cloth with black vinyl sides. The material is basically mint, with one small tear area on the drivers bolster (someone sat in the seat with a screwdriver in their pocket). Everything works perfect.

Worth only as much as someone is willing to pay. Surf the bay get some average prices and then go from there.

the foam must be worn out. the bolsters should be much deeper.

Mine were black vinyl, mint.

Depending on where you are located you can get big bucks for them. I got a set for $25 each out of a junkyard for my 2002 and paid some guy in a sketchy neighborhood $250 to totally reupholster them. They are now better than new and would easily sell fro $300/seat on ebay/private sale. Even totally beat recaros go for $100/each on ebay to the 2002 guys.
