It only works on black cars because the molecular structure of pigmentation draws out the excess heat from the metal while the dry ice contracts the metal. All other colors cause this process to be ineffective.

yea that stuff works on any color. i did it on my moms white station wagon and my dads 350 z white. someone shot his z with a bb gun cause we parked it in a private lot. but yea metal when chilled tightens up. and when warm expands. sometimes u gotta chill and rub it in for a while. but ull hear the metal creeking. its pretty cool. guy with oj big huge dent, get the ding king kit. but dont use the twisty thing that it comes it. just glue on an insert and YANK HARD AS HELL!Firetruck?!?!?!

The extreme temperature difference is what is supposed to make the dent pop out. But that's just one of the methods I know of using dry ice.
