Not many of us in Denver as far as I know... Mostly 5 and 6 series guys that I am aware of. We can always start a group though!

                Hi. Welcome to R3V.

You might want to do a bit of study on the whole "thin air" thing. Private planes use turbos because they automatically compensate for the thinner O2 at higher elevations.

Check around your town. More Turbos (factory turbo cars) are sold there (per capita) than anywhere in the world, according to an old study made by GM.

I believe that, if you go to Boulder all you see are Subarus and Saabs running around...

I'd love a turbo for my 5. Living in Denver isn't bad because most of the suburban area is only a little over 5000 feet, but driving up into the mountains, depending on where you go, you can approach nearly 11,000 feet on some of the passes... Talk about a pain in the ass. Our low compression US spec motors don't stand a chance! When I get to the top of Vail pass, I bet my 5 is making 125hp!! lol It's pitiful...

your whole cant turbo but i can supercharge deal doesnt make sense to me, they are basically the same damn thing the only difference is where they get their power.

my friend told me that ya loose acouple psi of boost cause of the altitude, and gain it back on sea level. i had a gti 1.8t and drove to Az for rugby and it was noticably faster. i just want to supercharge to make it unique. 6-8 psi is all i need. im not trying to loose my lisense
