    Bavarian Autosports new product offerings

Just got their newest catalog. They have an 88 325ix fitted with "angel eye ellipsoid" offered as a kit.You put it together though. Also of note is the new TITANIUM front brake kit that cost as much as a decent e30.They are really light! 5 lbs for a 13 inch rotor! guess ceramic rotors are too heavy and now passe.

Yeah, I saw that brake kit, that's crazy looking. I think if I had those brakes, I'd never drive my car for fear of scoring the rotors!

Those "Angel Eyes" Are the old school LED ones that were pioneered a LONG time ago (3 years).

Looks like BavAuto is behind the times.

Yes, they mount outside the existing headlights in those plastic covers.

Indeed they are. I really don't care for anything they sell.....its over-priced anyway. About the only thing from them I wanted was a Scorpion SS cat-back. Somehow they managed to royally jack-up my order. I kept getting excuses for 2 months why it hadn't arrived. Having grown tired of their "stories," I cancelled my order and vowed to never purchase anything from them again. I still get their catalogs in the mail. Makes a great butt-wipe substitute.

When have they been ahead of the game?

Hell, they're trying to get $500+ for a 84-85 front airdam that looks worse than the factory one. :?

That's odd, since I received my Scorpion Catback within 5 business days.

Yeah, I always hear all this horrible stuff about Bav Auto. The only problem I ever had with them is when I placed an order for about 10 separate items. When they got to me, 3 of them were missing, backordered apparently. This was noted on the invoice, but I was mad they didn't call or email me to tell me. Other than that, I've always gotten everything super fast, and have even done a few returns/exchanges without problems.

I've always had great luck with them. I ordered a catalytic converter from them and it arrived in 3 days via FedEx Express. They've always had all of the parts I wanted, and were able to get some ones that they didn't have in stock. They've always replied to my emails quickly and have been very helpful. I also bought something that was really small and they were able to just drop it in an evelope and ship it cheaper than mailing it FedEx (their usual carrier). I'd give them an A+.

I've had no problem with them either. Though I did order a replacement bumper strip from them a while back and for some reason it came in a box roughly the size of Arnold Schwarzenegger while sitting in one of his H2's...

6 days to get a clutch kit shipped to Italy! A+ in my book. No matter where I've been overseas, they never take longer than a week to get my order to me.
