None. I dont think that your windsheild is any protection in a roll over and the soft top is not designed to take a load like that.

I think you will have to covert to a manual top if it has power already. I know there is a feature on a power top to manually open and close it if the power goes out. The hard top fits whether you have a manual or power top.

I doubt it will help much. It is pretty rigid but I believe it is made of fiberglass. It is also only attached via 2 latches up front and 2 pins out back.

Also, this is the case with all convertibles with out roll bars. I wouldnt worry too much about rolling your e30.

just got off the phone with the owner

its a 1992 325ic, calypso red, black top, 77k miles, in "pretty good condition, its not perfect, but you know its in good condition for a '92"

            w00t w00t w00t w00t

she hasn't even put it up on autotrader or anything yet :)

if its in full working mechanical order, and body looks great.

what do you think i should offer for it?

              Calypso sucks.
I dont know what you should offer. Did she say a price? 6K?

I paid too much for mine. But then again, it was in great shape with 56K miles.

If its a 5 speed its worth about $8-$9, I would offer her $6k, and see what she says.

WHAT limited space? the only difference is that the battery is in the front

                      the Cons (from an owner)
the soft top goes to shit fast but if you find a hard top you are ok.
the interior takes a beating from the sun (just keep the leather conditioned)

                      The Pros
The IC is the second best head turner as far as E30s (I mean non BMW people)
Top down on a summer night....you cant beat that!
The styling is classic I get offers for my car at lest once a month!

If you are going to track or auto cross this is not for you..but if you are driving on the streets and want to do it in style get an IC.

check for rust under the floor boards and the condition of the top ..that is the only thing aside what you would look for in anyother E30

                          It's a cabrio.....
                          Nuff sed

You might as well paint on the outside in big red
letters "Please break into me and rob me blind"

Get a hardtop if you considering a Cabrio, the
extra weight totally does not compromise the
                          added security.
