16.5 gallons :)
I never top off when I fill up and usually put in about 14.5, and I don't refill until the light comes on.
I count miles and divide by how many gallons I used. Unless your OBC is extremely accurate (and it's not), you're only going to be in the ballpark range for gas milage. And if you have different than stock fuel pressure or injector flow rates, your OBC is going to be way off.Comment

Tanks in the 87 and earlier are only 12.5 gallon tanks I believe.Originally posted by kencopperwheatHow big is your fuel tank? When I fill up I put between 10-11 gallons in.Originally posted by nandoi get a steady 21-22mpg in my ix. (300+ miles a tank). I just got 320 miles on a tank today, most I ever got was 360. I make sure to give my car a ferrari tune up every day too, no granny driving here.
if you're getting 8mpg with an M20, something is seriously wrong with your engine, or you drive around in 2nd gear on the freeway...
Yours may even be smaller.- Sean HayesComment

heheh my fuel gauge is awsome. It bounces around like a cat on crack, i never know exactly how much fuel i have left. Sometimes i have a full tank and it says its on Reserve, sometimes its almost empty and its on full. I'd replace it if i wasnt such a lazy bastard.

You probably have to just tighten the ground nut on the back of it. Or possibly replace your SI batteries.Originally posted by BS87heheh my fuel gauge is awsome. Jesus, if i hear another American whine about gas prices...
If you whine about them, don't ever travel abroad. You'll have a heart attack and die.
You have some of the cheapest gas in the world, whacking an extra dollar onto a gallon sounds like a damned good plan to me. Maye get a few out of SUV's (doubtful)Comment
