Help me pick an exhaust for S50

Top Choices: Remus vs. AA vs. Stromung

Don't mean to bore some of you guys, as we've all had this discussion before, but I'm interested in your thoughts. I'll be running headers or stock manifolds into a stock '95 M3 cat and am planning on ordering a cat-back exhaust made for a '95 M3 and just mess with the mounting to make it fit. I have a stock E36 M3 rear muffler, but the thing is entirely too big, so I'll probably be selling it.
Anyway, first off, I don't want SuperSprint, again too big, and I want something quiet but distinguishable when I get on it. I've always wanted a remus exhaust but the tips are dual 90mm (read: HUGE 3.5 in). I'd be pretty happy with 76mm (3 in). So that's what's keeping me from Remus. The AA has great reviews and isn't too loud but nice sounding. The Stromung has staggered tips which i really really like, but I'm afraid will be too loud.

I used to have a TriFlo, so I've already experienced a loud ass exhaust, don't need it again, and whatever I get has to have no droning!
Really interested in your thoughts. Thanks.

Chris, I am fond of the AA exhaust. Nice throaty sound, not too loud, burps on idle, etc...

But since that isn't one of the 2 choices you want, I say Stromung, because it is still throaty, and louder than Remus (which sounds good, but is definitely a quieter exhaust)

I've heard S50s w/ AA exhausts and I would say that would definetly be my choice.

UUC. I jizz my pants when I hear that sweet exhaust note.

I'll also say UUC. My dad has it on his M3 and a strange feeling rushes through my body when he climbs into the higher rpms. It's on the loud side though.

I can hear my buddies E36 M3 LTW with UUC from about 2 blocks away. :D

AA is one of my top 3, reread my post, I think you may have skimmed it a little too fast. Actually AA is in the lead right now.

NOTE for suggestions, I DON'T want to be heard from 8 million blocks away. I'd easily buy the remus if the tips weren't 90mm and I think the Stromung will be a tad bit too loud for my tastes right now. AA has a little lead but I'm not sure yet.

Thanks for the links. Good samples.

I think my friend lacked a cat, and definately had some mean headers on his car, not to mention one fucking badass shielded intake.

I think you'd be happy with an UUC.

Remember I had a TriFlo. When I had early track practice, my friends could here me when I was leaving my house. I lived 7 1/2 blocks from school.

AA makes beautiful exhausts, and they aren't overly loud.

Are you so sure that the 90mm tips = loudness though? I've heard a Racing Dynamics exhaust on an E46 330Ci and it had 100mm tips. It was actually just as quiet as stock, just deeper. It wasn't even close to loud.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Who said 90mm tips = loudness? I said I just didn't want the 90mm tips because they're too damn big. I don't want to have to trim my valence or have the tips hanging lower, it looks stupid.

How do you drive? Do you have a lead foot, because System-U exhausts at WOT are deadly loud, but cruising around town aren't that bad. My friend Max has one, it's not all that obnoxious at all unless he's pegging it.
