Need HELP: Key locked in car w/ trunk open

    Yeah.. I figured as such but you would have to consciencely and purposefully lock the keys in. That's not something that you can't do by accident through normal day-to-day usage. If you are in the midst of doing something unusual, i.e. preventing the doors from being opened becuase you cleaned the rug and you want it to dry before anyone gets in the car and you are running the heater to help it dry and then someone else comes along and notices the back door being unlocked so they do the good samaratin thing and lock it for you.

      Yeah, or if you had some groceries in the back seat, closed the doors, then open your rear door to get them out and while you are at it lock the doors and then lock the rear door on your way out.

      BTW, my 7 year old cousin was in the car, the keys were in the center console, she got out through the passenger door and locked the car, had a tough time opening it. :D
