NBA Fans...Post Season Is Here (Update pg.2)

The NBA Playoffs are upon us once again. Some great teams made the cut this year.....looks like both east and west conferences will have some great games prior to the Finals.

So what team are you pulling for? My Kings are looking pretty sad.....and I'm not affraid to admit that we will probably get eliminated in the first round. Its just not our year. I've been paying some attention to what the Minnesota T-Wolves are doing....they look promising. Ditto for San Antonio.

I really don't follow the east too much but Indiana and Detroit look like tough clubs to beat.

Now that they've picked up Rasheed Wallace, I think Detriot is going to be a hard team to beat. Their defense is dominating.
And in the West, I think San Antonio is going to be the team to beat. With a healthy Tim Duncan in the line-up, they're going to be unstoppable.

Pistons will be the Eastern Champs. As much as I'd like to see LA go down, I think they'll beat Minn. in 5 or 6.

                  The two Wallaces are unstoppable.

I really think MN will take the Lakers out. I know they can win the next game, I just KNOW it.

I'll be watching Monday night - I will not leave the seat at all.

Unfortunately, Ken, they lost. They had that game in the Third quarter! Arg, I wanted to see the Lakers go down.

Now I'm rooting for the Pistons - I hope they kick the Lakers' asses!

I just wish I could watch all of MN's next year - but, since we're in ID, they won't show MN games unless we pay... :x

I've actually come to like the Pistons quite a bit now. I liked Rasheed when he was on the Blazers, and I've always liked Ben Wallace ( I love guys that play hard-nosed defense and rebound).

I think this finals series will be a good one. I don't think Malone can guard Rasheed... but I also don't think that Ben Wallace can guard Shaq and they need Ben in the whole game for defense and rebounds.

                              Getting to this thread late...

Everyone is counting the Pistons out, but I hope they can pull some surprises. Call my crazy but I think the fact that they are opening the series in LA is an ADVANTAGE for the Pistons. If they can steal a game in the city of angels, they put the pressure on LA heading back to Detroit. Then again, home court seems to not have much of an effect on the Pistons play.

                              For the Pistons to win...

They need an inside presence. The Wallace brothers need to go up and go up strong. I can't count how many lay-ups Ben W. missed in this last game. Pathetic! Dunk the fucking ball. Rasheed W needs to use his quickness to get around Malone and get to the hole. Minnesota lost because Garnett settled for outside shots. If Garnet would have mixed in some spin moves and baseline cuts I think this easily could have gotten Minnesota some easy buckets.

I've said it once and I'll say it again.

Win the battle of the boards
                              Take care of the ball
Go to the hole on every god damn play

If you accomplish these 3 things you WILL win basketball games. I'm sick of seeing people throw up bricks. Getting to the hole means high percentage shots, free-throws, open jump shots, and fouls for the other team.

                              FWIW:

I hate Shaq (greedy cocky fuck), I hate Malone (Whinny Redneck), and I want to see the Laker fans cry.
