    Does BMW do a program like Mercedes when you hit a certian mileage you get a badge?

      I got 123k on mine. Relative baby as well I guess.

      4k since I tore down, reconditioned, and stroked my motor. :D

            You got that right.

            I noticed this morning my M3 is about 400 miles away from 150k. Ugh.

                      It is so crazy how these cars still feel brand new with as many miles as all of us have. That really shows how great these cars are. :)

                            To offer my input to the original poster: The motor and tranny are the least of your worries. If anywhere near adequate maintenance was performed, they are the most reliable parts. Reading this thread should prove that out nicely!

                              325is 249xxx, on orig engine/drive train, top end refreshed 10k ago.
                              I enjoy driving a car with such high mileage I feel like im proving bmw build quality and I think most feel that way. But definetly the engine is the most durable part.
