Just turned 85k on my drive back to college on Tuesday. Ive put 9k on the car since last November, with only about another 1000 most likely going on before I garage it for the winter in October. 10k a year, and thats like double its yearly average!Back to my roots

My 90 325is has 195,900 miles. 1 mile on a new coolant reservoir. Goes like stink. Still a solid drivetrain.
the GF's 85 325e has like 285,000 miles with some clunky clunky rod knock @ 24 mpg.

My good friend Mitch has an 85 325e with 209,000 miles. well thats what the speedo says, and it got stuck 7 seven years ago..........
He drives it like a race car everyday, we even hit up a "rally course" from time to time. it is basically a 15 foot wide 4 turn path that construction trucks use to get to a site. so at night no one is there and it is fun. but back to the car, it runs great and probably has well over 350,000 miles.Comment
