Is here someone from MIAMI??? I have a problem.

I sold on ebay.com some springs to a guy in MIAMI. I shipped them on the first of April. Today i got a letter from PayPal that he want his money back because he don'T get his springs.
DHL (german post) told me that it takes 12-14 workdays and today only 8 days are gone. I can also start no inquiry because that only possible after those 14 work days.

Someone know what to do? Or can someone tell this guy that it is normal that shipping takes some time. I also have the document that i shipped it on the first of april.

Maybe someone can help me.

Email him and tell him that the method they were shipped with takes x-# of days and offer to fax him a copy of the receit from when they were shipped.

I wouldn't return his money yet. Is there anyway to track the package? One can't expect a package to arrive from germany in the same rate it would in the U.S.

they couldn't tell me something at DHL (i called them this morning) only that the package left Germany at the 2nd of April. And i can't start an inquiry because the 14 Workdays are not gone. There are 6 days left then i can start an inquiry.

I'd provide the shipping info to paypal, I had an item once that took forever coming so I notified paypal and they sent one of those letters, the seller then provided shipping info to them and they dropped itand said if the package still does not arrive in 30day then notify them again.

In that case Call DHL and tell them to cancel the shipment as soon as it arrives to it's destination and have it returned to you.

Sounds like the best course of action. If anything PM me his phone # if you have it and I'll get in touch with him.

When you log into paypal, and click the "Settle Case" link, or whatever it is in german paypal :P, there is an option there for you to enter shipping information (i.e. tracking number). Select that, and you will be fine.

i did that because i got an email from PayPal. But it says "inquiry" and i can make an inquiry first after 14 days. But i wrote the normal tracking number and put a link to the picture of the document for the package. If that is not enough for PayPal then they really suck :D
Furthermore they wrote in the email that i'm insured for 5.000 US$ for one year. So if i is shipped and i can't get my money back from the buyer then PayPal has to pay?
