Not exatcly. I could be wrong but my guess is that you wouldnt see the money back unless the buyer has money in his paypal account. Paypal will withdraw money from his account and send it to you, never pay from their own pocket.

It happened with my father, where he sent the payment to the seller and he was unsure that the seller had shipped the item. 2 days later, with no replies from the seller confirming a shipment, my father asked paypal to return the money. Paypal replied saying that my father pretty much got screwed over because the seller withdrew all the money from his account, and he never got his money back.

But who knows, it's not exatcly the same case so maybe you can get your money back.

i think there is nothing to do to get my money back... the insurance from paypal is only for people from usa and canada. maybe ebay has an insurance....
