Will an E46 M3 trunk Spoiler fit an E30? Do they look better?

    Will an E46 M3 trunk Spoiler fit an E30? Do they look better?

    I believe M3fan4eva has this trunk spoiler on his recently r3v'd 4dr. Do you guys think this spoiler looks better than the original E30 "is" spoiler and on that note does anyone have pics of it on a car. I can't fully judge based on the pics on his post.

    It doesn't fit at all. Frank's wing is the bottom portion of an M-tech II wing, with out the big rounded top part.

    I test fitted one and the curvature is way to much for the straight E30 trunklid, and its too short to span the width.

        ^ Yeah thats the eBay spiler that i was going to refer you to .

        I've sen them on a few different BMW's locally and they turn out nice .
        Plus they are dirt cheap .

        My advice is to try and get one that has a shallow recess underneath for the tape underneath though .
        These look better on a darker car as the regular ones tend to show the white foam of the tape on the sides .
