Where's a good place to buy some thicker rear spring pads?

Any websites or local chains that would carry them? I want to raise my rear end as much as possible. Maybe a half an inch?

yeah, who else would have them? I think they sell two or three different sizes. you could always doube them up too.

the pads on the back of my ix were like 3/8" thick. I'm pretty sure those are the fattest they make them :)

My dealership has 10mm thick pads. Is that larger then what usually comes stock on a 89 325i? They also had a 7.5mm which I think would be the stock pad.

they might have 12mm.. I'm not sure though. you could get the 7.5mm and just stack them on top of your existing pads, that would bring the back up about 1/2"

Will that add any more movement to the suspension?

no. it will just make the rear sit higher.. the spring isn't getting any longer :P

I just got a pair of 10mm bottom spring pads. They didnt have any upper instock, but I think if i double these up with the current bottom pads, it should be more then enough lift.

Thanks for the help agian. I'm not really use to relying on the dealership for parts ;)

i doubled mine up and it worked great, i felt no difference handleing wise in the rear end. Maybe a bit less bouncy because the shock can acually work now.
