    Another electric supercharger/turbo ?

What do oyu guys think about this one, it's driven by a separate packs of batteries and the sales pitch sounds reasonable.

I've always thought this was a cool idea, but the technology just isn't cheap enough yet.

For it to work well enough to be even worth while, you would have to have a brushless motor powered by LiPo batteries. Now, brushless motors have come down a TON in price and have gone up in efficiency, but LiPo's are still way expensive.

Now, this is all assuming you use it like Nitrous, not like a turbo or supercharger. Really you can't even compare it to the latter.

It really would be cheaper just to run nitrous in the end.

yea i made a post about that. but in reality its much easier and cheaper to put a REAL supercharger on it. i got my m90 coming in and as soon as i blow my m20b25 ima swap it :)

I think everyone has thought this would be a good idea at one point or another. Still I would prefer something already around and not in short burst.
