What do oyu guys think about this one, it's driven by a separate packs of batteries and the sales pitch sounds reasonable.

I've always thought this was a cool idea, but the technology just isn't cheap enough yet.
For it to work well enough to be even worth while, you would have to have a brushless motor powered by LiPo batteries. Now, brushless motors have come down a TON in price and have gone up in efficiency, but LiPo's are still way expensive.
Now, this is all assuming you use it like Nitrous, not like a turbo or supercharger. Really you can't even compare it to the latter.
It really would be cheaper just to run nitrous in the end.
