I think the music scene in Providence is better than Boston. Boston is filled with generic loud rock bands and Providence has a lot of more mellow venues with extremely talented musicians.

Also, Boston is gonna suck ass for a while this summer... Democratic National Convention = yuck. Huge delays in traffic, and they already cancelled one huge sailing event for it.

Heres the question then guys. Im looking for a college. My dad is now living in hartford :roll: . And when I get out of High School my mom is moving with him to like essex or lyme. So that leaves a ton of schools in the north east. I liked Boston University but my sister is going there and I hate her. Any suggestions? Im looking for engineering.

Uconn big party school but its way out in the country not very far from providence i get there in 30-45mins on a good night

Its also a good engineering school..my friend is graduating this year with a mechanical engineering degree..no other schools in CT are worth it most are in pretty bad neighborhoods new haven, hartford, bridgeport..etc
