Euro M30 almost done!! a few pics...

    Hey guys-
I am almost done with my Euro M30. I should finish it friday if there are no more issues that need attending to.
    Details:
3453cc Euro Bottom End (short stroke, big bore= big rev's)
    14lb flywheel (stock is 24lbs)
    E34 intake manifold (best flow)
    E34 camshaft (best duration)
    dual valve springs
    3-angle valve-job
    Deves piston rings (cast iron)
Knurled pistons to take up clearance from honing
all new bearings, seals, oil pump, water pump, clutch, dist cap/rotor
    polished timing cover/dist housing.
    K&N cone intake (with heatshield)
    Borla Exhaust
Chip with 6,800 RPM rev-limiter (low for what this motor can do)
This motor should put around 200+hp to the rear wheels.

it's an engine rebuilding class at Santa Barbara City College. Its part of my auto-tech program for becomming a BMW Tech. It has been worthwhile thus far, I got to rebuild an engine for my own car and it has just cost me the parts ($1,200 total).

Awesome Ryan, it looks great. There are VERY few engines that look better than BMW's straight-sixes.

Ryan, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new motor, in comparison to the original motor in your 5er (after it's broken in). Do you have a local shop to dyno at? Looking forward to the numbers.

                            Party on.

                            Josh, you got it!
