They aren't bad as long as you don't plan on going anywhere fast.

CIS system isn't bad if you take time to understand it- which most people don't. The biggest enemy is water and crud in the fuel lines.

I went and looked at it, and forgot the camera so no pictures. It was rusty, front floors was gone and had surfuce rust aroud the taillights and roof rails and various other parts of the car. The int. was nice but was the basic int. no a/c or sun roof. It had a kamei wing with zender side skirts and i don't know what the air dam was, The skirts and air dam was the ones in the picture below. All in all it was a parts car, and i couldn't use anything off of it so i left it there.

My fault, i'll take the blame. Anyway the car was deep in West Virgina, so the pictures may of scared some people.

No its not your fault in the least. I was really pulling for this to be a decent car for some reason. As if my future had something to do with it comsmically. jk, but I really did want it to turn out.

There's allways more cars out there. I'm going to sell my charger and either get something else or i'll put the money in my e30 and Firebird. I'd like to get a rear euro bumper and some other stuff for the e30 or i'll get a set of rims for my firebird, torq thrust II's 17x9.5 for the front and 17x11 in the back and a WS6 ram air hood.

E21's also came with 2.0i m20's you know
No they didn't, they came with a 2 litre carburettor engine

i do not remember exactly but I'm pretty sure the only FI e21's were all 1.8i's.
                No, 318i, 320i, 323i are all injected.

                Good luck! Sadly I know more about e21's & 2002's than e30's...
Gee you must be pretty clueless about e30s then.

In addition to being really slow and noisy, they also have a body structure that's about as rigid as a wet noodle. Also the A/C sucks and if you get one with A/C you get the extra benefit of a radio that sticks straight up toward the sunroof. What else? How bout a cheesy headliner that gets soiled by the sunroof mechanism. Oh, and an unsolvable shimmy at about 55mph.

But, my first car was a 320iS. Perfect car for a 16 year old - no power, decent handling and cool Recaros.

Later, I did an ill-advised S14 swap. Wheelspin in 3rd gear was interesting. But the car vibrated worse than an old harley.

The moral of the story - the E30 is a vast improvement over the E21. In fact, it's the best BMW.

They can be made more rigid, my A/C is good, my headunit works perfectly in the upright position, the 'shimmy' is an easy fix.

For just about every make and model of vehicle in the world, there is always somebody, who no matter how many flaws you point out in the vehicle, will aways have a comeback to make that particular car seem like the greatest thing in the world. 'There's a trick for this, you can fix that, mine never had that problem, etc etc etc...'

You, my friend, are that guy for E21s.

Hadrian you need to get your sh*t straight on E21's... Ever browse realoem.com? Ever own (and read) a manual? Many european countries, Italy for example, gets taxed on the interior volume of the cabin as well as resale and annual taxes are based on engine displacement. Because of this BMW developed many different motors than we have here in the states. Check it out... I'm not making it up I promise.

                          The e21 and the e30 both came with M10 1.8i, m20 2.0i and m20 2.3i motors. The 320i was a (mostly) US model 2.0 and 1.8 m10 while the euro 320 was a 2.0L m20. I cant confirm whether the e21 6-cyl 320 was EFI or carbed as I have only owned three e21 323i's..

Go look at www.bavauto.com even they have the choices in the dropdowns!

Go back to school, learn a little more, then come back to the table. You are on crack if you think the only 2.0i e21 made was a carbed m10, that was simply a stopgap 2002 motor thrown in because the euro motors didnt pass emissions in the US and EFI (cis) wasnt ready for production in the e21 yet.

Do some homework and then come back when you figure out which way is up....

                                M20 2.0 litre injected E21? There's no such thing.

EDIT: 'i' stands for injected if you didn't know...
