    Need Front Seats that....

I need to find some seats to replace the front seats in my '90 325i sedan. Here is what I'm looking for

    Seats that:
Fit the e30 style (no superhardcoreracingseats)
    Are Sportier than stock
Allow me to sit much lower (the lower the better - the reason I HAVE to replace the seats is that I don't fit in the car - I'm 6' 7" and I have a LONG torso)
Are Under 500/seat (including all that's needed for install)
Recline and slide forward and back
Won't be painful for larger individuals to sit in (I'm quite skinny, but a few friends HATED the sparco seats in 3rd bimmer)

What suggestions do you guys have? Thanks all,

    -Evan

Maybe you can do a T-Top mod and look over the top of the roof like Shaq does in many of his cars.

Seriously. I have the same problem and my head was constantly hitting the roof. I ended up permanently welding my seat height past the lowest positon to give myself an additional 2 inches. It really makes the mechanics angry when they try to adjust the seat and it wont move. But it was either that or driving while leaning to the side.

Teej is right on the money. And ditch the last requirement, if they are too big for the seat, they should eat less double triple whopper megameals. Your car, your imagination.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

            Who is teej?

I like those recaros. I'm concerned about the steep side bolsters not working so great for larger drivers.

About the sports seats, I'm skeptical that they'd make enough difference height-wise...

TJ beat me to it. Fuck larger drivers, tell them to get a Tahoe or some shit. If your skinny and you fit, IMO, thats all that matters.

I just got done sticking some old school Recaros from an E24 into my E28. I didn't do any measuring, but with the comfort seats I had less than 1/2" of headroom, and I always hit the sunroof over certain bumps. With the Recaros, I feel like I'm sitting right on the floor! The probably made an honest 2 or 2.5" difference in height.

                I'm 6'3"

What do you mean larger drivers? Who gives a shit, you should be the only one driving the car.

I have a girlfriend, thanks for asking.

lol, no pics yet, the Recaros need to be recovered to match the rest of my nearly perfect interior... Until then, I just try not to look.

I am 6 foot and about 220 (not all that small) and I fit perfect in the SRDs and sport seats. The sport seats sit alot lower than the non sports as well.
