That was the thing to do to a car in the early 80's. And it looks like he's doing it to a Nash Metropolitan too. But that 2.8 in it is a slug. I had a 83 s-10 4x4 5speed with a 2.8 with a comp cam and fuel injection heads with a small 2 bbl and it was still slow as hell. But yet my grand father had an 82 s-10 two wheel drive with a stock 2.8 and a 4speed and that thing ran like a small block chevy.

So how do you title and register such a vehicle? How do you classify it? Is it a car or a truck? And then what about the VIN? Does it take on the vin of the blazer being that it would be a Chevy Blazer with a BMW body or would it take on the vin of the body being that it would be a BMW with a Chevy chassis?

That would be kind of tricky.. Because it weighs more than any car yet the E30 does not have any sort of payload capacity.

When I built my last off-roader, I used a 92 2wd S-10 and a 82 Blazer frame. I used both titles and got an assembled title and a new state assigned VIN.

Was told many times it was the best built around, looked factory.
