My ETA, at least according to VIN, is a dime a dozen E30 that is in no way unique to other 04/86 eta's in the united states. An absolute enormous amount of them were made. Shit I better go out and buy an M3 now if I want to be more Unique.

I'd take the E30 M3 over that Lancia any day of the week. Just on looks alone, that's like comparing Jessica Alba to a redheaded step child; the E30 M3 is pure sex on wheels. The only reason the Lancia won that little mini-race was because of straight line speed. Yeah, there are a hell of a lot of cars that can beat the E30 M3 now, but that is to be expected when 300hp is becoming the bare minimum for a new "sports car" in todays market and the E30 M's put down less then 200 at the crank.

The last two times I was out at PIR there was a guy in a grey E30 M3 that was hauling some serious ass. I think the car still had an S14 (it didn't sound like a 6 when he was passing me :D) but that guy and that car got along very, very well. The horsepower difference between my 318is and his M3 is only what, 60hp or so at the crank, and he was passing me and many others like we were sitting still.

You don't buy an E30 M3 with the expectation of being able to stomp on any car out there today on a road course, etc. It's just that it is everything a car enthusiast wants thrown into one package. It's is a beautiful car, it's light and responsive, it doesn't have enough horsepower to allow your right foot to make up for bad driving, etc. One day I hope to own one, but I'll probably molest it with an S5x swap. Hell, maybe I'll buy two and have on in S14 mode for the purists and one in S5x mode for everyone else. That'll be the day..

yeehaa !!!!!! like to see a ps2 game keep up with that !!! or this link this is a modded e30 m3 but hang on come get you some of this one. At least with an e30 m3 you can do some pretty serious mods to them unlike most other cars including the lancia on its counter part on ps2 !!! Serious e30 M3 with a s38 turbo claiming 950hp and I believe it too. Never could do this with a lancer or for that matter just about anything else out there without putting another manufacture motor in the car you want. BUT I dont think there arer many cars out there you can but original manufacture motors in same manufacture car and get huge results. You must see this to believe go and look for yourself.

as shitty as my shitbox e30 is i love it to death. Might be the gayest thing I'll ever say, but its very true. every time i park i turn around after walking a few steps to make sure everythins just sweet...like theres no stupid tissue stuck in my intercooler or something. My dad asks why i wax my paint when every panel on the car doesnt match the other....I can't answer that..but i still do...and i think its because the paint on my car isnt the strong point, but everyone still tells me how nice of a car I have. You could say this car is a representation of my ego.

And thats with a 325. If i had an m3...shiitt Id be polishing every single motherfuckin day. I would really like to have an m3, but only if i have the funds to have a euro s50 or s38, perhaps with a turbo...

no matter what, I have to hold the e30 name high whether its a regular 3er or m3 and spank on every sob who tries to race me. BTW i don't actually go looking for races...but who hasnt raced somebody cause both of you stopped at a red light and happened to look over at each other? shit...my girlfriend hates driving and shes even raced some dude in her stock 02 camry lol
