It's cool, but you can't even call it an "M3". That'd be like me throwing a turbocharged S50 into my 318is and calling it a "fast ass 318is". No, it's a fast 318 shell with a completely different drivetrain. And if you have the money, you can get stupid amount of horsepower in just about any car made by a major auto manufacturer. Toyota has the 2JZ-GTE, Nissan has the RB25 and RB26 engines, you can pull some stupid horsepower numbers out of an Evo's engine (4 of them were putting down 900+whp in this months SCC), you can get huge horsepower out of mercedes/porsche/audi engines, and any domestic auto manufacturer has a V8 that could put down 1000hp with a supercharger or turbo(s) without much trouble.

Yeah it's a bad ass car, but it doesn't really help prove anything for the M3..other then that there are a lot of capable BMW 6-cylinder engines you can swap it...and any other E30. It's kind of like taking a Camry in Nascar and saying "check out this Toyota Camry it hauls ass!"

Man thats so true, everyone thinks i'm nuts, everyutime I park my car and walk away from it I sit there and say... "damn, thats a beautiful car.. I love my car" and everyone just sighs.

as shitty as my shitbox e30 is i love it to death. Might be the gayest thing I'll ever say, but its very true. every time i park i turn around after walking a few steps to make sure everythins just sweet...like theres no stupid tissue stuck in my intercooler or something. My dad asks why i wax my paint when every panel on the car doesnt match the other....I can't answer that..but i still do...and i think its because the paint on my car isnt the strong point, but everyone still tells me how nice of a car I have. You could say this car is a representation of my ego.

And thats with a 325. If i had an m3...shiitt Id be polishing every single motherfuckin day. I would really like to have an m3, but only if i have the funds to have a euro s50 or s38, perhaps with a turbo...

no matter what, I have to hold the e30 name high whether its a regular 3er or m3 and spank on every sob who tries to race me. BTW i don't actually go looking for races...but who hasnt raced somebody cause both of you stopped at a red light and happened to look over at each other? shit...my girlfriend hates driving and shes even raced some dude in her stock 02 camry lol

yeehaa !!!!!! like to see a ps2 game keep up with that !!! or this link this is a modded e30 m3 but hang on come get you some of this one. At least with an e30 m3 you can do some pretty serious mods to them unlike most other cars including the lancia on its counter part on ps2 !!! Serious e30 M3 with a s38 turbo claiming 950hp and I believe it too. Never could do this with a lancer or for that matter just about anything else out there without putting another manufacture motor in the car you want. BUT I dont think there arer many cars out there you can but original manufacture motors in same manufacture car and get huge results. You must see this to believe go and look for yourself.

I believe that about sums up the feeling I would get if I owned an E30 M3. I think I would have the same feelin about an E36/E46 but the E30 M3 is so unique with its sexy fenders and what not. I absolutely love the body on that thing.
