Good friggin' point. Although most of the kids who crashed at my school were dumbasses in Hondas.

well, hes a senior in high school currently, so yea. Also, he only had liability, so they won't be paying for the car(insurance).:( And yes from what i've been told the tree stopped at the dash line.

hey guys, im finnaly back at home. and i am very happy to have the injurys that i have considering how bad it could have been. i was in the hospital for a few days and im still recovering. i will explain the whole story later when im felling a little better. but a little outline for u is that i was traveling too fast on a backroad, i saw a flash of something, attempted to dodge it while hitting the brakes. i happend to be sitting in a patch of gravel. drivers side front wheel locked. when that wheel hit pavement again it wrenched me off the road and into a tree. i was immediatly knocked unconcious and was pinned in the wreckage. after about an hour resuce teams were able to use the jaws of life enough to get me out of the wreckage and to the hostpital. i was in teh hospital until sunday afternoon.

thank all of you for your condolences. im not feeling to hot currently and im on alot of medicine so im not thinking as clearly as i should. i will be writing up the full story at some point so keep in touch.

btw, the total injury list is: broken knee cap, broken ankel, many large abrasions and lasurations on my whole body, ive had many stiches. overall i think im very lucky to only have this short of a list considering the severity of the accident. my dad was able to get some pictures from teh wrecking yard the other day and i will post them when i get a chance. just so u know, when i saw the pictures, i just about threw up. i am very lucky to have come out alive.

$5 says his tires had something to do with it.
yes these may have had soemthing to do with it. but gravel played a MAJOR part in the whole situation so i dunno how much better tires would have done.

my dad has photos that i will get up eventually along with the whole story. u will not belive i came out alive when u see them.

here are some... disturbing pics. (for me at least)

these were taken at a wrecking yard a day later.

if u wana download them all in one zip click here: http://members.cox.net/randomtask73/Accident.zip

if u look at the pics where u can see about 10 inches of clearance between the steering colum and the seat... while i was there there was only about.... none.
