    locked out

I threw the keys on the floor and shut the door. I went to the trunk and pushed the trunk button and all the doors lockes. Both sets of keys are in the car. How can I get in.

The trick is you dont....you buy a new car

If the keys are original, you can give the dealership your vin and they can get some keys cut for you in like 3 days

find a friend with AAA, or if you have it, and they will get it open in a min or two.

Yeah.. the windshield pops in and out fairly easily. If you didnt shut the trunk yet, you can get to the wiring of the central locking system. Just short out a couple of wires that activate the locking system to make it think that the door were unlocked from the trunk.

Yeah, mine burned out a few months ago. I had it permanently disabled so that it wouldn't cause mischief, kinda like in this case here.

Unfortunately, my driver's door lock is half-broken, so I can't lock it from the outside, but I can't lock the door with the knob while the door is open either, because BMW didn't want me to lock my keys in the car...so I have to walk to the other side of the car, open the passenger door and lock both doors from there. Oh, the fun of a 22-year-old car!

I can't open my doors if not from my trunk. My dam key won't even unlock the particular door I try to open..????

Get yourself a nice steel wire (Those that don't bend easy) 2 to 3mm thick, use pliers to bend a tight hook on the tip, and slide it from the rear top corner of the window sill, shape it as you need a bit at a time, then slide down the window sill until you hook on the door lock.

Use the driver side door, rubber is in worse condirion usually, so it will go in easier.

I did this and it worked, just lots of patience and it'll come.

I will let you guys in on an old Valet secret.
You know those plastick bands they use to palletize things? You know thy use them to strap stuff together?
Get one at least three feet long, fold it in the middle so it is doupbled up and follow these steps.

                          1. slide it in between the door and the b piller, like a coat hanger.
                          2. get enough of it in so the following steps can be accomplished
                          3. pull the outside of the strap back so it makes a loop over the lock pin.
                          4. ease the loop down so the lock pin is captured in the middle of the loop.
                          5. pull the loop tight around the pin.
                          6. pull the band out and up so you can pop the lock pin up and unlock the door.

                          that's it.
                          Yours truly,
                          Rich

Pop hood with long flathead screwdriver by inserting it into the slot to the left of your driver side headlight thru the grill.

See if you can jump the central locking system at the fusebox or elsewhere under the hood.
