How can I get tar off my car?

Ahh HELP! I drove over wet asphault about a week ago.. and I've got tar allll over the 318.

There were no cones up btw.. it wasn't my fault! I had no way of knowing it was wet.

Thus far, I've tried kerosene and turtlewax's tar remover. It's not touching the stuff!
    Any ideas?

    TIA

best stuff i've found. Make sure you polish/wax after you use it. It takes everything off the paint ;)
