Wheel style and tire size means nothing without knowing the width and offset of the wheels .

Try browsing e30.de and you'll come across what you are after .

          Hey Ben,

Thanks! That looks awesome, you wouldn't happen to have a photo directly from the back would you?

EDIT: BTW ever think of running a 215 on the front?

          Thanks Again,
          Mark

Alright, this is what I am thinking; want to order some tires this weekend

                    225/45 in the rear
                    215/45 in the front

The nominal difference in height shouldn't be that noticeable.

Anyone running this? or any other staggered combination?

Why staggered? I would go for 225's all around.

Running staggered setups are useless and increase understeer unless your car happens to be so powerful that 215's won't contain the beast or oversteers terribly. Stick with the same size all around and I think you will be better off.

It may increase understeer a little bit, but on the street you won't notice... Alpina ran staggered setups on pretty much everything in the '80s, and all the road tests say that the handling is amazing.

A staggered setup will also help with tramlining that may be caused by directional tires. I ran a 205/55 and 225/50 stagger on my first 6er and my 5er for a while. I didn't notice more understeer, but I did notice a huge improvement in tracking on the highway. HUGE.

My only intent for running staggered, is looks. The 225's in the front look slightly out of place.

Overall I think it would look better. As far as the power is concerned, this car will be producing in the area of 325-350HP. Is that enough power for you? I am assuming you are referring to throttle steering...
