    He ended up cutting out the pass-through hole and using a socket on a loooong extension...or something? I don't know, but he got it open without using an air hammer, or ANY hammer for that matter. Lame.

      Sorry to dig up an old thread, but my M3 has the same problem. I can't go thru the ski pass opening because I have a subwoofer enclosure blocking access-plus I am 6'8" and WAY too big to even attempt to fit thru that opening!

      So I guess the only option is to hook something in the key opening and keep pulling till it pops? I anyone else has any other suggestions I would appreciate it.
