Gas Prices?

i'm considering putting the stock chip back in my car and running regular.......

premium topped over $2 a gallon at the cheapy gas station i go to.... its a lot more in other places, and in northern new jersey. prices getting higher by the day.

Acutally, I have so much money to burn that I deliberately drive around and fill up at the highest priced station in my area. Then I drive home and flush large wads of $100 bills down my toilet, but not before wiping my ass with them.

Premium is just over $2 per gallon!? It's $2.36 here (that was yesterday... probably higher today). I actually ran a full tank of regular last week (for $2.15 per gallon) and it pinged like a bastard. The $3 extra per tank is worth it to me.

Yep, it's 93 octane. I wish we had an option of 91 here, I'd run it in a heartbeat... unfortunately, all we have is 87, 89, and 93, so I don't have much of an option if I want the chip to agree with me. Maybe someone will trade me their stock chip for a fifth of SC or something.

We have the highest prices in all of california here is Santa Barbara...

And I'm planning on a m30 swap...Oh well, I'll still get good freeway mileage...

I'm starting to get dead serious...... my father wants to get rid of one of the e30s to lease a new car..... and the Ford Escape hybrid is seriously interesting....

....... now it's more tempting than ever.... and maybe my car can go to someone who can afford tuning/maintaining without using all of your savings money.....

we'll see how gas costs go and come down...... but to tell you the truth, I'm giving in to the idea to having a nice daily driver with warranty and then when I can afford it, get an e30 as a track car and a hobby.

$2.60 Premium right by the highway here in Seattle. Outside the city a bit I filled up at $2.50 for premium. Yeah not exxactly fun news. I hear it will hit $2.90 by August

Word. Found a gas station tonight running a special, premium for the price of plus. That's 93 for the price of 89. 1.87/9!!! :) Filled 'er up.
