    Went up in a floatplane today (pics)

    Was a complete blast, its my friends dad's plane, he even let me fly it for a bit.

    Its a Cessna 180 Float Plane

    Here are 2 of the many pics I shot, the house on the right is mine, from 1300 feet.

    Ah man..... I regret so much not being able to finish my training for my private pilot license. I miss flying :(

        Great looking shots....and what a great day to go flying. I know clouds and rain are the norm in those parts but you guys lucked out.

        So where was that at? The Sound? Union Lake (or Lake Union?).

            do'nt get me started.... i have my private cert. & complex rating and i was about 30 hours of flight time away from getting my instrument.... haven't been behind a stick or a yoke in 3 years

              So what are you waiting for Pete? The airplane to swoop down and pick you up? I know about 6 guys that have GA aircraft, find one that wants to fly offer to pay his gas and landing fees and away you go.

                no $$$ to blow on it, my friend. if i was gonna do it professionally i could see investing in flying again, but i'm in Aviation Managment now.

                but that doesn't mean i still can't bitch about not flying ;)

                  My dad has a 1965 Piper Cherokee 140..sadly he doesnt get around to flying it much and matter fact i think he is or atleast was trying to sell it the price was i beileve 25 or 26k. IIRC

                  i am most likly very wrong with the price but again i might not who knows
