    This year's Octoberfest - BMWCCA.

I know there was a thread that was created a while ago, but I figured I'd start a new one.

This year, it's located in Pasadena, CA - and will begin on July 4th.

Anyways, I was talkin to BE30s, here on R3v, and he said he knows quite a few E30 guys right in town, so we're going to be putting together a mini E30 meet there at Ofest, it's gonna rock.

I figure I'll post my cell number when the time comes, so anyway that wants to join can give me a call.

However, I was wondering, who here on R3v is going to be at ofest? We should all meet up or something, I'm going to be pretty active this year.

For those that want more info head here: http://bmwcca.org/Oktoberfest2004/Ok...t_Frames.shtml

I'll be autocrossing in my dad's E36 M3, since I can't afford to drive my own car down, and I'm definately looking forward to taking part in that drifting thing - I really hope I get to use the E30 325i they mention here (http://bmwcca.org/Oktoberfest2004/Ok...riftiing.shtml)

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to it, and am just wondering who all is coming (here from R3v). If you're there, let me know where you're stayin or some number to contact you at, that way we can meet up. ;)

you need to be a BMWCCA member, and pre-register for the events, just so you know ;)

Anyone know if you can just pay for the autoX. I really don't want to pay $249 to register for an event that I can't be there all week for.

Sweet we'll have to meet up! As I said, I'm going to try to get a bunch of people toegther.

Smoove - I'm not sure. maybe try e-mailing / calling BMWCCA to ask. If anything, you'd need a membership - but maybe something could be worked out?

If anything, you'd definately be welcome to watch. ;)

You can register just for certain things, but you also have to pay the $35 CCA membership. It's going to be a very expensive Auto-X.

Well, o-fest rocked. Never met up with anyone though, unfortunately. But, no big deal. I took part in the autocross, the drifting demo, the rally, and pretty much everything.

There were some things that bugged me this year, but I can't wait to go to North Carolina next year. I want to drive my own car all the way to the East coast.

One major highlight though - BMW NA presented the brand new BMW M5 at O-Fest. It was the first actual showing of the car ever. Quite an honor. I got some pics I can post later. 8)

Did you end up coming down, George? I didn't see the car in you sig - there were more than 10 E30 M3's there though. An, o-fest kicks ass. You all missed out. ;)

For those that are wondering, next year will be taking place in Greenboro, NC. Starts on September 17th and goes until the 24th.
