ate, it's what your car likes. nice to see they sell the atomic slots again, even though they keep renaming them. Ate power discs (premium one) up front, brembo blanks in back. good pads, good fluid, better bleeding, go.

ORRRR, drop some coin and talk to mr massive lee --- the man with the illest bbk on the market. He's here on the boards and makes beautiful stuff.

Don't buy them from Tirerack unless you're in a hurry, there are better deals out there I'm sure

I've used the Ate Premium One (formerly the PowerSlot) with very good results. Many miles of spirited road use and some track days. As already suggested, these rotors with some quality fluid and pads should be more than sufficient for all but the most hardcore/aggressive drivers. If you aren't in dire need of these rotors, do some shopping around - you can get them for less elsewhere.

I just replaced my brakes all the way around, and went with Powerslot fronts and Brembo OE rears. The Powerslots are very nice, and combined with Hawk HPS street pads, my brakes have serious bite. I'd also like to add that the Hawk pads have almost NO dust. They rock!

I just got a set of UUC rotors and am very pleased with the quality and that they don't rust in untouched surfaces like the brembo/ate rotors.

I've got those ATE rotors on my 533i and they bite fucking hard. At 50mph if I want to I can lock up the front tires... 225/50/16 AVS ES100s. This is with the wimpy 10.2" 528e / 533i brakes! As soon as I get some E32 750il rotors for the 6er, the 5er is getting the bigger brakes from the 6 and should really stop nicely. I'd buy em again for sure.
