I wouldn't sell my E30 M3 for any reason. Except one. And shoot, that came up. I'm leaving the country and I can't take the M3 with me. Damn...

I know I'll be buying another one because nothing compares to it for the head turning ability and the handling. Oh well. I'll try to make sure it goes to a good owner.

It's really starting to bug me when I see some kid buy one of these and run them into the ground because they can't afford the maintence or the ability to have a second car for a DD. It's really sad when I see m3's getting parted out because some people are too retarded to work on them or too poor to pay someone else to fix them.

Sooo true. It pains me to see one of those great cars fall into the hands of a neglecting owner. If I had one, and couldn't afford a repair/mod at a certain time, I would do all I can to keep it until I could. That includes paying a monthly fee to safely store it until I had the cash to get it back on the road.

The parting out option should only be exercised if the car has been totaled. Period.

            My ultimate M3:

            Repainted bright Honda blood red
            Black interior
            Sound deadening removed
            Usual interior upgrades.
            Interior stripped of radio, AC.
            No rear seats
            Race seats, cage, 4pt harness
Carbon fiber hood, doors and rear wing (painted to match)

2.5 fire breathing 4 banger with all mods
            High gearing

Black out lights with LED rear HID front

            17" SSR comps
            coilovers
            Big Brake kit

Driven only on the street during weekends doing really stupid stuff. :)
Imagine the looks. How fun would it be to flog a track ready sick looking E30 M3 all over the streets.
