Ha, stock M roadster brakes are not what I call impressive enough for a wheel like that. If you gonna run really thin large diameter 5 spoke wheels, you needs some massive calipers to look normal. I have an E36 M3, while the brakes perform well, they're definitely not much if not nothing to look at. I even painted them bright silver and painted the embossed ///M logo in in the TriColor with a black letter "M." I'm still glad that they're mostly hidden behind the M double spoke II's.

    EDIT:
i dont know what else he could do...
    You're kidding right??
Mroadster brakes might not look very impressive behind his wheels, but as you even mentioned, they perform awesome. Eric's car is a good 300 pounds lighter than an E36 M3, and remember he uses the 325mm brakes all around. Yes, he would have much better braking power with a set of Brembo's, Stoptechs, UUC, etc., but how much braking does he need for daily driving? I run a built 24v in my E30 with stock brakes (metalmasters, stock rotors, dot5 fluid) and I have no braking problems during spirited driving; although of course they get hot during very serious driving (E36 5-lug swap coming soon).

My point is, Eric has more than enough brakes than he needs right now, especially considering the type of driving he is doing. I don't think that upgrading to aftermarket 4+ piston, 13+" brakes would be the most worthwhile modification for him.

I agree with the wheel-centering and stiffer spring rates.[/i]

Granted, but if the reason you're buying a big brake kit is "looks", you're doing it for all the wrong reasons.

          Function before fashion.

                  Back on topic,

I like them, and thought the LTW's looked far to undersized for your car. Yes that came from me, Mr 15" wheel max on an E30. The LTW's just looked swallowed up due to the offset one them, that is why I like the MVR's.

LIke Rob pointed out, I was not referring to performance as I mentioned. I already said they perform great, I even went into detail describing my experience with my own M3's brakes. Reading a post helps.

I read your post in full, chill. ;) Notice I mentioned your experience with the brakes. Did you read my post?

I might invest in some Brembo's, not that I really need them, I just want sweet looking brakes.

I'm not getting heated about it. I suppose I probably should have chose different words rather than "reading a post helps" but I'm tired and was too lazy. I thought it might come out with a little more attitude than was meant, but Ilike I said i didnt feel like coming up with something else. Damn internet messages, they should invent audio forums where your response is recorded so tone of voice is included....egh...whatever, now I'm just rambling.

I like them, but then again I always thought the LTW wheels were pretty damn ugly.
