yeah they will work. if you can get them cheap and you need to replace them, they will run just fine in the stock motor, the ECU will need to reduce the duty cycle, which can take a few minutes (go drive the car hard a couple times to help it along). I don't know if they work on EVERY ECU or not, but I know it works with mine, and I've cycled/reset the ECU numerous times and every time I start the car up it runs great (except for the vaccum leak at idle, I think there's still a hole in my intake boot which will be gone soon).

you probably won't gain any power if it's your only mod, but I know it made my engine run stronger, most likely because they had less than half as many miles as the ones I replaced. :)
