    The Dash Crack has started!

    Hey,
It started last year with a little tiny sliver, and today it is the Grand Canyon of dashboard cracks. Has anyone come up with a fix for this? Is there anything to use maybe as a filler? I'm Bummed.....

yeah, it's actually a technical term we use here alot on the forum, it's called, "get a new dash bc there's no way you can fix cracks"

Yeah, you are looking at maybe $100+ shipping for a really good used non-cracked dash. Unless of course, you're willing to deal with it...

In some of the discount stores they have that iron-on leather and vinal repair. It may not fix the dash perfectly but a dash patch looks better than a crack on any given day.

I have very small cracks in mine... ..the biggest being a centimeter. Last year I filled the holes with super glue. I had one of those vinyl repair kits in my closet somewhere but I didnt feel like digging it out, so I took some black gasket sealer, and filled in what the glue didnt. Then I too a flate razor blade, and lightly scraped up the remainder fluid... ...looks like there was never a crack

when i bought mine it came with a plastic cover that is a perfect mold of the dash, i don't know where it came from but looks alright, blends in well, i didn't even notice at first.

for the price of the dash cover you can just buy a good used dash. the dash cover although has the perfect mold and all will leave an edge all the way across where it's overlap ends...
