yea i really didnt think it was that bad, i still dont. but i wont do it again. i found a track.

I give him props for taking the time to practice somewhere empty and not where there are cars (or other people). When events were scarce and I was even more broke than I am now, I resorted to empty warehouse lots (which I became quite infamous for after an accident).

When something like this happens, there's no accident report, there's no insurance problems... he just tried something new, messed up and he now has to pay the price alone.
