"Running an engine" on compressed air is hardly a demonstration of anything. I have a bin in my tool box full of things that run on compressed air.
They also forget WHY the big engine they are comparing it to is so big. You can't put 800 ft-lb of torque through a 1 inch diameter (or smaller) steel shaft reliably. (if at all.) That "engine" is capable of a lot mathematically, but not physically. its an unproven system that has been generally abandoned because its just not a good idea.
His fuel economy claims (and claims of running one on atmospheric air) are garbage. Hell, most of his "engineering" statements in that video were wrong.
