Kansas City, the city of fountains... (no 56k)

Just so you know we do have something here besides wheat. I was out shooting some cars for some NICO forums guys and had some time while they were setting up shots.

Really close to my house, was just killing time:


The Country Club Plaza, its like our version of La Jolla (my fav fountain):



This is the "Fountain of Light." Its a roof structure of a church designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, they just got it working 6 years ago. He designed it a long time ago it was just waiting for lighting technology to catch up.

I agree its pretty sick, but if the lighting wasnt the gay, cheapass yellow street lights and not halogen lights that dealers use...it would have came out 500000x better :)

I am considering desaturating that last one except for the plate and roundel so you get the B&W effect.

ahhh yes!! gorgeous, I used to live 2 min from the plaza, one of my favorite places ever! all the kansas kids need to meet up there and take pics, I'm tellen you! come on......hahaha. anyways, Ryan your car looks amazing, nice work!

bimmerchic, we could probably give something a shot but it would take some planning. There isnt much of an E30 KC crew (me, ks-ix, and another guy, if his car is finished) and the rest of the BMW group doesnt get out much.

On the other hand if we could convince the Wichita crew up here we might have something insteresting. Either way I plan on takign a lot of pics, I want to get better with this camera since I dropped the extra coin on a manual one.

Sweet!!!! I'm going to install my headlights this weekend and then try to find an IS lip, and then I'm golden to meet up with the whole kansas crew!! I'm also moving back to kansas city in a few weeks for the summer. Lets round the kids up! I know someone from lawrence that might be interested too. YAY!

p.s. those other pics are sweet too!!! nice work, I'm real impressed, I need to improve my skills now...haha.
