I like watching my car in windows. It makes it look cool :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one doing this. You guys ever get comments from other drivers/pedestrians? I had a guy stop in the middle of the street and talk to me about it- and this was before I redid the suspension, and my car's not really that nice. I drive a 'vert, so it's a bit easier, but still...

Yep, I do it,too. Good cars do that to their owners.

I guess that's what separates certain cars from "appliance" cars (like a Hyundai Sonata, LOL!),

I had a moment yesterday. Walked out my back door to throw something in the garbage can and saw the MG sitting there in the drive way. Just makes you feel all tingly inside. ;)

I can't remember who posted this, I think it was Mr. Anderson, it went something like "if you don't look back at your car when you are walking away from it, you are driving the wrong car". I've been thinking about that statement and it is very true. Someone else (I can't remember who said this either) told me that the cars you really like are the ones that were in production when you were a teenager. I was a teenager in the late 80's, so this statement holds true for me, but it what about all of you youngsters that were tots when the E30 had hit it's sales stride? The only answer is that the E30 is a classic and will endure. It's perfect. I can't think of one design element that I would change.

Also, the only other 80's car that I love are the Ferrari GTO and F40. Everything else sucked.

agree mark, the e30 rocks. just got mine back from the shop with 4.10 lsd, new subframe bushings & rtabs. she feels perfect, the 4.10 is really throwing the power down to the road. i'm going to take her to the track tommorrow, now that's what i call an awesome start to the week :)

I played with DTM hot wheels when I was a kid, always loved the look of them, and my Dad was into them two, buying all the EC mags.
