Here is mine. I got it from a friend while he was in tattoo school at Captain Jack's in Portland, OR. It's Tibetan and it means 'compassion'.

anyone remember the news article where the asian tattoo artist was getting sick on non-Oriental speaking people getting Oriental symbol tattoos, and started giving people symbols that meant "small dick" and "whore" and shit like that?

Josh, those are some cool tatts. You guys need to get Scott from bmwbushings.com to post on here, he has a lot of tatts, I think he is working on sleeves on both arms and just got a huge work done on his chest.

Here at base there are a few people that get sent tattoo's from DoD (dept. of defense), of people applying for security clearances, to see if they're gang-related or whatnot. Most of the time its always something completely opposite of what the person thinks it is. Not too long ago, a Marine here got a tattoo across his collar bone in Japanese, because he was being shipped there, saying something like "Hot stud, bla bla" but it turned out saying "Girls, dont talk to this man, he is a player." Needless to say, he went kinda crazy. Damn marines.
